Today we’re featuring a custom AgeVerify instance that integrates with the Lightspeed eCommerce website builder platform.
Our client, Forest City Vape, needed an age gate that dynamically changed the required age based on the website visitor location. We accomplished this by prompting the user to select their Canadian Province and then we adjust the required age for entry accordingly based on the laws for the selected province.
Additionally, we added in a ‘Remember Me’ feature using Local / Session Storage instead of cookies so that website visitors are not unnecessarily repeat prompted. And of course, we build this custom age gate so that it always looks great and functions on any size device or screen.
